Strips are sold individually, so you must order the correct quantity for your truck (1947-1950 stepside requires 8 strips, 1951-1972 stepside requires 7 strips, 1958-1959 fleetside requires 7 strips on longbed and 8 strips on shortbed, 1960-1972 fleetside requires 7 strips for longbed and only 4 strips for shortbed).
