This kit is used to keep tension on the shifter where it connects to the shift linkage. A sign that this kit is needed is a wobbly, loose shift lever. This part is strictly for 4 speed shifters. The shoulder bolts are sold seperately or you can get the complete kit by using patr number C5ZZ-7208-AK.
