Description
1967-1970 Ford Mustang Power Brake Conversion with Disc Brakes, and Automatic Transmission
Booster needs at least 15 lbs of engine vacuum pressure at idle for optimal braking. High-performance camshafts may not provide sufficient vacuum. Stock engine vacuum is 18 lbs. Note: Brake distribution block is not included in this kit.
This setup utilizes a new Bendix style power brake booster with increased sensitivity, a new large capacity dual chamber master cylinder, adjustable pushrod, and a specially designed mounting bracket to allow direct bolt-in while retaining the original brake pedal assembly and clearance of the shock tower. The pushrod is preset but is adjustable to move the pedal height up or down. The only modification necessary is bending new lines from the master cylinder to the distribution block. This kit is easy to install and is a very economical solution for those looking for an improved braking system along with the added safety of a dual-chamber master cylinder. This booster requires a minimum of 15 pounds of engine vacuum pressure at idle for maximum stopping power. Some high performance high lift camshafts may not create enough vacuum. Stock engine vacuum pressure is 18 pounds. A brake distribution block is not included in this kit.
- Provides increased stopping power
